Socket head cap screws are a specific type of fastener. SHCS are often used in machine parts, die fixturing, and clamping. Socket head cap screws are ideal for applications in which there is not enough space to maneuver wrenches or sockets. As a recessed fastener tool engagement is restricted to access from directly above. Available in a variety of materials as well as inch and metric sizes.
